What Are You?

Living at the intersection of two different identities and cultures has been a struggle throughout my life. From being too white for the black kids, to being too black for the white kids; I have experienced hate from both sides. With all the racial injustice running rampant across the nation, I, as a biracial person, have felt confused, fearful, and forced to “pick a side.” With this project, I wanted to start a conversation and spread an awareness of what it is like to be a mixed-race person. And hopefully inspire/influence my audience to think differently about identity.
